Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!

When I went back home from Kedah 3 days ago, the first thing I saw when I get into my house was a letter to me from Kuok Foundation! Woohoo!! I was as happy as a lark then coz after about 2 1/2 months of waiting, I finally got the result! I am shortlisted for the interview!!! >0<

To be frank, actually I never believe in scholarships so I never apply any of them after my SPM (this is the first time I apply) because I always feel that scholarship was something that is almost "mission impossible" to get, especially for an average student like me. And it really took alot of effort to prepare your application so I felt it's a waste of time. After all, I know I won't get it anyway.

But after my STPM, my mum urged me to try to apply for scholarships as I got a quiet satisfactory result. And I dunno what else that had influenced me in changing my mind about scholarship.. until I said to myself, "No harm trying!"

Therefore, I sent 5 scholarship award applications to 5 different organisations, hoping that I'll get good news from at least one of them. And it's not easy to apply as I've mentioned before. You need to prepare alot of information, documents, photocopies and not to forget - the dunno-what-to-write essay. So I guess what people always say were right, "You think $$ come down from the sky wan ahh..?" Very true indeed.

Anyway, I'm ready for whatever consequences it might be. In fact, I'm already very lucky to be shorlisted for an interview. This means I have 50-50 chance to get the award. The rest is up to my luck. So am I LUCKY enough? Only God will know. So pray hard and just wish for the best! ; )
