Break for another fortnight...

Hey, guys! I will not be blogging for the next 14 days due to some reasons..
Ya.. I'm going back to Penang tomorrow for some extracurricular activities. Gonna be real busy again beginning next semester! But no worries. This time, I promise to update my bloggie from time to time. No more "sat keng mou san sat jong" la.

Once a failure, NOT always a failure

Dear Bloggie,

F-A-I-L. How do u FEEL when you see this word? Sad? Disappointed? Discourage? Heart broken? Well, it's a normal reaction for everybody who meets failure in their life. In fact, failure is such a normal thing that it happens almost to everyone. But the good thing is it teaches us a lesson, so that we will not repeat it and will try to improve ourself.

Hmm.. why do you think I suddenly say like that leh? Hehe.. Actually.. I failed my road test today.. To say the truth, I really very sad when I knew I failed coz usually once you have passed the Bhgn. 2 (the hill, parking & 3-pointer), Bhgn. 3 (road) should be no problem already. It's a waste when you failed just because you were nervous and made silly mistakes.

I even cried at the driving test centre itself. Many people were laughing at me that time but being an extremely emotional and expressive person (not to forget my super thick face), I didn't care those glances at all. All I want to do that time was just to cry as much as I can. People might think I'm stupid for crying over such a small thing but to me, it's a BIG thing! Coz I've been putting a lot of effort in it. I mean how many people will actually wrote down notes everytime after a driving lesson and continuously practising non-stop for 3 hours straight? I don't mind even if I have to practice 5 hours (if got la) without any rest. But why.. after I've put so much effort, the return is this...? Well, this was what I thought at the beginning.. I felt down and have no confidence in myself...

However after having my beloved family and friends consoling me, I started to feel that I am in fact consider lucky to have passed the Bhgn. 2 or else I would have to retest for both again (instead of only one). Ya know... I was truly blessed for having so many people around me who always concern about me. ^^ After I got my test result, many friends cheered me up, my bro gave me a cute shoe keychain as a gift (yes, although I failed! >0<), my daddy accompany me eat "ais kacang" (he even asked the auntie to add more "gula" to make it sweeter although it's not really healthy for old people like him coz he know sweet things will make me happy >0<)
OMG! They are so.. so.. sooooooooooooooo sweeeeet! T.T (touched..)

I LOVE EVERYONE IN MY LIFE! ^O^

Their unconditional love and concern has trigger my spirit to try harder next time. I will definitely retest - even if I have to retest for 3rd, 4th and so on, I will still retest until I finally pass based on my own ability! Never give up! I know I can do it de! Just don't be nervous! Have faith in myself and I shall succeed!!! Go, Wen Ling. GO!!!!!! ^0^

Memories ~ [Chapter 5]

Dear Bloggie,

After my last paper, I decided to go out to have some fun to celebrate my 1st "Merdeka" on that day itself. However, many of my friends have already bought their bus ticket to go back to their hometown. But that doesn't stop me from going out alone. No way! It has been like "years" since I watch the last movie! XO

The funny thing was that when I was waiting at the bus stop, three girls approached me and asked me whether am I going to Queensbay Mall too. I said yes and they invited me to join them since I was alone that time. They are actually one of my course mate but I never talk to them coz there are just too many students in my course. But oh well, I guess friendship can be foster at anytime, anywhere and with anyone! ^^

Entrepreneurship Week 'o8

Below is a video that I 've made for my presentation on one of our assignments. Actually it's just an amateur video but just becoz I wanna save some photo space in my Picasa, so I decided to upload it here. Have a look! ; )

Yup! It's an Entrepreneurship Week where people will sell all kinds of stuff; from stationeries, bling-blings to cute cactus plants! Hmm.. I remember when I'm in Form Six, we used to have this kind of week too! And I remember how we (my beloved U6A class of '07) cooperate with each other and made sushis in the school together (so that it'll stay fresh until the "selling time" starts). We even get a good scolding from the school authorities for skipping classes to make sushis at the canteen. Haha.. XD Luckily after the hard work, we manage to gain some profit from the sales. Pretty tired, but contented! Ahh ~ da good 'ol days.. Sigh.. ^^

Too bad this time we are not allowed to sell food in the campus. Or else, we would have gain lots of profit. Hehe..


Industrial Visit '08

This is one of the biggest activity that I've participated during my first semester. By organizing this activity, we were able to visit several well-known companies in Malaysia such as Kobe, Bosch, AMD, Jabil, DHL, Motorolla etc. The benefits that we get from this visit including understanding the companies' daily operations and knowing which major that we should take. It was indeed a worthwhile experience! ^^

An Outing with Lecturer

These pics were taken during our final exams. We have one whole week of 'holiday' before finishing our last 2 papers, so we decided to have fun for one day (after being stress out for 4 papers earlier). Hehe.. =p

But the unexpected thing was when we went to one of our lecturer's office to send a thank you card, he invited us for a lunch. Hence, we went to a popular chinese restaurant for lunch. After that he even treat us at one of the most famous cendol hawker stall in Penang. What really surprised us was that after that, he drove us around the island for a sightseeing and went to a few prominent places in Penang. How cool is that?

Well, I guess I should introduce this super nice lecturer to you guys. He's Mr. Chee, our financial accounting lecturer. To say the truth ler, at first we do feel that he's quite.. urmf! [clearing the throat].. quite monotonous geh when teaching.. but like the saying goes, "never judge a book by its cover". He's in fact a very easygoing kind of person! ^^

After going to various places, he dropped us at Gurney Plaza where we decided to window shop before heading back home. Hehe.. it was indeed a nice way to release stress after a "war" with exams! Now, here's the pics. : )
